This position is with a major consumer package goods company. The selected applicant will have the responsibility of working with distributors throughout the US (120) in making suggestions to improve their bottom line, and also the bottom line of my client.
The person will become totally responsible for both major and minor projects in the supply chain arena leading to cost reduction and improvements in the supply chain functions. Since there are several divisions within the company, the manager will be responsible for integrating these divisions into a whole unit.
The role of this position is a very strategic one. The selected person will be someone who can lead projects, drive continuous improvement and move up to the next level as part of succession planning. This will entail identifying, developing, recommending sand implementing solutions that are efficient, cost effective and provide competitive advantage in the market.
The Supply Chain Customer Solutions Manager will lead the development and support implementation of cost optimal network solutions and processes that effectively interface several Company divisions and to ensure customers’ service expectations are met or exceeded. In addition, this position will support cost savings initiatives and growth projects for other channels of the business.

| Skills: |
- Preferably out of a beverage or similar type manufacturer who works with many distributors,
from "Mom & Pop" to large independent distributors. Could also be food or pharmaceutical background.
- Must be a self-starter, ready to take charge immediately.
- Must have direct customer interface.
- Must have worked for more than one Company.
- Must have true operations experience working in a consumer package goods company in a plant environment.
- Should have experience with a consumer package goods company and led initiatives to
reduce costs and improve the supply chain arena.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, a Master’s is almost a requirement.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with business operations.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a supply chain/ logistics environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills
